In an ever-changing technology landscape, the IT Department oversees the development, implementation, and use of technology in all city-owned offices and buildings.
The IT Department of the City of Belleville is under a constant state of growth. Our team supports all departments throughout the city with their ever-expanding IT and communications needs.
We also oversee the security of all electronic equipment /electronic assets within our numerous City-owned/occupied buildings, while also managing anything related to the hardware and software needs of our over 300 employees.
These functions include, but are not limited to the management of data, in conjunction with maintaining our computers, integral networks, servers, printers, phone system, fax machines, television monitors and security equipment throughout the City.
With commitment to detail, we daily enable other City departments to provide direct services to the residents of Belleville.
