Retired Officer Firearms Qualifications

Retired or separated police officers who wish to use the Belleville Police Department Outdoor Shooting Range must complete and submit the required documents and meet specific qualification criteria, as explained in the steps below.   

Step 1: Complete, print, and sign where indicated, each of the following forms:

Shooting Range Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement

Step 2: Set up an appointment.

Appointments are only scheduled during the month of April.

Step 3: Bring the following to your scheduled appointment.

  1. Completed and signed paperwork (see Step 1, above).
  2. Your firearm(s) and 30 rounds of ammunition.
  3. A copy of your valid Illinois FOID card
