Excavations

Excavations in the City require an Excavation Permit from the Engineering Department.

Please follow these instructions when applying for a permit:

• Download, print, and sign the required Excavation Permit
• Read the Permit Conditions section included with the permit application
• Include the $1,000 Right of Way Bond and Site Plans with the application 
• Include Certificate of Liability Insurance
• Return the completed and signed Excavation Permit Application, Right-of-Way Bond, Site Plans and Certificate of Liability Insurance along with the applicable fee. The Fee Schedule can be found on the application form. 
  • Upon notification of the permit approval, The Engineering Department will direct you via email of the payment procedure.
