Join us for the annual Santa Parade. Sponsored by the Optimist Club of Belleville, this tradition began in 1952 and is the largest parade in Southern Illinois, featuring floats, marching bands, dance groups, and the arrival of Mr. & Mrs. Claus.
The Exchange Club of Belleville decorates the magnificent Veterans Memorial Fountain with holiday lights every year. Join us near Santa's House on the Public Square for the official Lighting of the Fountain, holiday music, and caroling led by the Optimist Club of Belleville. Afterwards, shop the Christkindlmarkt and ride the Free Horse-Drawn Trolley.

Enjoy a free, round trip, horse drawn trolley ride through downtown Belleville, past the German Christmas Market and around the beautifully decorated Veterans Memorial Fountain. View the 2021 Trolley Schedule for dates and times.

Purchase a bag and collect more than 30 unique and delicious cookies as you stroll through downtown Belleville onthe Gingerbread Cookie Walk, hosted by Belleville Main Street. Be sure to pre-register; only 400 cookie bags are available.
